Category: Adventure Mitoza is a tiny adventure game where you start off as a seed and are presented with two choices. Every choice affects the life of the seed and you end up with the same seed in the end. The cycle repeats but this time, you can change your choices and get to an alternate ending. Category: Puzzle BirdGut sets an incredible premise which makes for a very interesting game. A bee is eaten by a bird and gets shoved down the bird’s guts. There lie all the critters that the predator has ever eaten and are now enslaved and brainwashed. The bee is set on an adventure to destroy the bird’s insides and free all the critters. The hand-drawn levels and characters reel you in and the original puzzles keep you on your toes. It’s a classic banger. System Requirements

Category: Point & Click This retro-themed adventure MacBook game in Steam puts you in the middle of a cave and your objective is to escape. 15. The Orville
Category: Casual, Interactive If you’re a fan of Seth McFarlane’s The Orville then you’d love to wander the USS Orville. You get to explore the ship in both first-person and third-person, take it for a spin, sit in the captain’s chair, synthesize food at your disposal, and everything that you’ve watched on the show. The character customization is still under development but you’d be able to recreate any of your favorite characters that appeared in the episodes. System Requirements

These were some of my favorite free steam games for Mac that you can play without stressing out your wallet. The majority of games offered are made by small indie developers so you know that even if the games are short, the experience would be memorable.
